With captivating views along well-trodden paths, the entirety of this 170km trail circumnavigates Mont Blanc massif, crossing through France, Italy & Switzerland. Fondly referred to as the adventure capital of the world, you’ll be based in Chamonix where you’ll have easy access to the most beautiful sections of Mont Blanc. Experience sweeping 360° views over the French, Swiss and Italian Alps, witness huge glaciers, snow-capped summits, and stunning mirrored lakes. Day 1 Arrive in Chamonix

Sheltered at the base of Mont Blanc, the bustling adventure hub of Chamonix will be your home for the next 4 nights. Overnight Hotel Les Gourmets 3*, Chamonix.

Day 2 Aiguillette des Houches

Follow a pleasant path through the forest, leading you to Chalet de Chailloux at 1,922m. Enjoy the delightful views of Chamonix valley and the spectacular Mont Blanc range before descending to Parc de Merlet, a charming animal park where you can see the emblematic animals of the Alps including marmots and deer. Overnight Hotel Les Gourmets 3*, Chamonix.

Day 3 Aiguilles Rouges: Lac Chésérys & Lac Blanc

This fine trail takes you across Les Aiguilles Rouges facing the glaciers and the famous summits of the Mont Blanc Mountain chain including Mer de Glace, North Face of the Grandes Jorasses, Aiguille Verte, and the Mont Blanc. Upon reaching Lac Blanc Hut, you’ll witness one of the best panoramas on this trip before admiring the beautiful mountain lakes. Overnight Hotel Les Gourmets 3*, Chamonix.

Day 4 Aiguillette des Posettes

Admire exceptional 360° panoramic views of all the Mont Blanc range and glaciers across Switzerland! This is a lovely, quiet path where you cross through meadows of rhododendrons and even an old slate quarry - certainly not a walk to miss. Overnight Hotel Les Gourmets 3*, Chamonix.

Day 5 Mer de Glace Glacier and Depart Chamonix

If you have time before you leave Chamonix, take the cable car to Aiguille du Midi at 3,842m high where you’ll be greeted with spectacular views over the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. Follow clear trails with incredible mountain views until you reach Mer de Glace Glacier, the largest glacier in France.
