Day 3 Along Inca lines | Taste traditions rooted in the earth
Begin at Ollantaytambo, walking among Inca terraces and ceremonial sites before continuing to the hillside ruins of Pumamarka. From here, follow forest paths into the Choquechaka Conservation Area, where native trees and plants are being reintroduced to the highland ecosystem.
At El Albergue Farm, sit down to a traditional pachamanca lunch, with meats and tubers slow cooked beneath hot stones in the earth. End the day at the estate’s artisanal distillery and coffee roastery, learning how small-batch spirits and hand-roasted beans are produced close to the fields.
